Morison Global has been ranked as the number one association in Nigeria by the International Accounting Bulletin (IAB) for the second year running. This is thanks to the outstanding work of our member firm Pedabo – an innovative and dynamic firm who has represented Morison Global in Nigeria for almost ten years.
Pedabo joined Morison Global in 2012 and has since seen a 490% increase in fees from $1.1 million to $6.6 million. Their number of employees has more than doubled, with 140 staff members across three offices. Most recently, their Managing Consultant, Albert Folorunsho, has been honoured with a Merit Award by The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria.
Peter Asemah, Partner and Morison Global Africa board member said: "Pedabo has been on a growth path to global visibility and has actively and deliberately contributed to regional and international publications and practice for our clients. We are excited at our progress and the consequent annual recognition that has kept us top of mind to all stakeholders, and accept the challenge for continued development. Being part of Morison Global for over eight years has contributed to our growth.”
Pedabo’s team plays a very active role within our Morison Global community, leading and participating in Common Interest Groups, presenting at conferences and regularly contributing to Morison Global’s tax publication, Global Tax Insights. Managing Partner, Ajibade Fashina was an active Africa Board Member for seven years until 2020, further to which Peter Asemah was appointed to the Africa Board. Peter is also a member of Morison Global’s Audit Common Interest Group Task Force and Fidelis Chukwu a member of the Transfer Pricing Common Interest Group Task Force.
Pedabo is a firm with a strong commitment to developing its people and in 2020, at Morison Global’s first virtual Africa conference, an excellent team of Pedabo’s emerging leaders facilitated and led a number of sessions.
Ajibade Fashina, Managing Partner of Pedabo said: “Pedabo is elated and thankful to note that the intentional actions taken in recent times towards our vision to be a globally acceptable brand in quality, professionalism and visibility is indeed paying off. Our desire and goals are to continue to attain process improvement in service quality and build a great place to work where our teams are excited and proud to collaboratively add global standard value to our clients across all sectors.”
Thank you again Pedabo, for all your excellent work in ensuring we maintain our position as the number one association in Nigeria. It is a pleasure to have you represent us.
